Refund and cancellation for training programs.
This policy sets out the conditions under which fees may be refunded and under which a cohort may be cancelled by Gestalt Therapy International. Specific terms are set out below.
The four-year professional Gestalt training is delivered as a fixed cohort. Once a learning contract has been signed and the program has commenced, fees are non-refundable. This is because cohort progression, faculty allocation, and venue costs are committed at the start of the program.
Refunds for payments made before the program has commenced are available as follows:
- · More than 60 days before programme start — full refund, less an administrative fee of AUD $250.
- · 30–60 days before programme start — 50% refund.
- · Fewer than 30 days before programme start — no refund.
Application is by writing to admin@gestaltinternational.com with the candidate's full name, the cohort, and the reason for the cancellation.
- · More than 21 days before workshop start — full refund, less an administrative fee of AUD $80.
- · 8–21 days before workshop start — 50% refund.
- · Fewer than 7 days before workshop start — no refund. A substitute participant is welcomed with at least 48 hours' notice.
For therapy, supervision, and organisational consultation, missed sessions are charged in full unless 48 hours' notice has been given. Sessions cancelled by Gestalt Therapy International are rescheduled, or — where rescheduling is not possible — refunded in full.
Long-format engagements (multi-month supervision, organisational retainers) are governed by the engagement contract signed at the start of the engagement.
Where a program, workshop, or consultation is cancelled by Gestalt Therapy International, fees paid are refunded in full, or — at the participant's option — credited toward an alternative program.
Gestalt Therapy International will not be liable for indirect costs incurred in connection with a cancellation (e.g. travel, accommodation, lost work time).
Where a participant enrols through this website, a 7-day cooling-off period applies from the date of payment, provided the program has not commenced. To exercise this right, write to admin@gestaltinternational.com within that period.
Fees are quoted in Australian dollars (AUD) by default. International participants should check the currency and any bank or card fees before paying. Contact the team for payment plans, hardship concessions, or institutional invoicing.
